Covid-19 and South Capitol Bridgework may have kept us from rowing the Head of the Anacostia (HOTA) in 2020, but we can still celebrate the spirit of this most unusual season. Join Capital Rowing Club on Thursday, November 12 at 7 p.m. for a virtual happy hour featuring a mixology lesson and capital rowing trivia game.

The Alibi’s very own Rachel Traverso has concocted the CAPITAL DRIVE cocktail to help us celebrate our determination and perseverance in thwarting 2020’s challenges. After she teaches us how to mix the magical brew, we will continue to mingle with the chance to win prizes for capital rowing trivia.
Proceeds from the $15 registration fee supports the work of Capital Rowing Club, including our Juniors and Adaptive Rowing Programs. For DMV residents, mixology kits from The Alibi, will be available for pick-up or delivery, alongside the purchase of delicious food. Upon registering you will receive:
- Google Meet Link and call-in number
- Capital Drive Details (backstory, ingredients list, and kit ordering info)
- Link to order Capital Drive kit and food pairings from The Alibi
Registration will be open until 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 12.
The deadline to order the Cocktail Kits (details provided upon registration) is November 11 (November 10th for home delivery).
