Capital Juniors is working to ensure that more DC-area students have the chance to experience rowing and to make their own memories on the water.

When I first started rowing in the summer of 2023, I was reluctant to start. Now, 3 seasons later, I've found an intense love for the sport. Rowing is often seen as a rich and exclusive sport, but at Capital Juniors, we work to change this narritive. Part of the reason we can do this is because of your donations towards scholarships for athletes and more things like equipment so we can practice, regatta fees so we can compete, and more. This ensures that we can all focus on our sport, not what we're missing out on.

On February 11th, Capital Juniors will be doing an event called the erg-a-thon for your donations. We will be rowing 200000 meters in total so we can keep our team going.
