When I got back from Conserve School last year, I was dejected. I struggled to find anything that really excited me after the best four months of my life. Then I found Capital Juniors Rowing and that made all the difference. I love the feeling of the wind on my face as my boat moves across the water, the peace of the water at night, and the splash on my legs on a hot summer day. But Capital is more than just a sport for me, it's a community. The push towards a common goal, lively conversations on land, and goofiness are what make this team so important to me.
